Job Overview

The Northern Territory Government is seeking an experienced leader to fill the role of Senior Project Manager.

This position will oversee the Engineering Services team at Tennant Creek Hospital, with a focus on delivering repairs and maintenance programs, as well as minor works and capital projects across the Barkly Region.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing multi-discipline teams, developing and implementing project plans, and providing technical expertise in building design, construction, and maintenance.

The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and advise diverse teams, manage pressure and change, and meet deadlines.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience in project management, preferably in a government or healthcare setting

  • A current driver's license, Ochre Card, White Card, and High-Risk Work Licence for Standard Boiler Operations
  • High-level knowledge of building industry techniques and practices
