We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Twilight Cafe Outreach Worker. This is a fixed-term, part-time position based in Melbourne, VIC, reporting to the Twilight Cafe Coordinator.
Key Responsibilities- Provide front-of-house assistance to cafe attendees, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment.
- Manage client behavior effectively, providing support and guidance as needed.
- Support volunteer activities and provide day-to-day assistance.
- Offer practical information and referrals for employment, health, housing, and legal services.
- Participate in outreach efforts in the City of Melbourne, engaging with individuals experiencing homelessness.
- A tertiary qualification in community services or a related field is desirable.
- A current and valid employee Victorian Working with Children Check is required.
- Experience in community services is preferred.
