Job Opportunity

Virgin Australia Regional Airlines is seeking a detail-oriented individual to fill the Technical Records Officer position.

This role involves accurately processing, monitoring, recording, and tracking airworthiness records to support Engineering and Maintenance Operations. You will also assist the Technical Library by managing document registration and distribution as needed.

  • Verify the accuracy of completed maintenance documentation to ensure compliance with regulatory and company standards
  • Maintain timely and accurate updates in the Maintenance Information System upon receipt of maintenance documentation from approved maintenance organizations
  • Ensure component log-books and hard copy records are updated, archived, and stored in accordance with relevant procedures
  • Load data for new aircraft and/or assemblies in the Maintenance Information System
  • Provide feedback to Original Equipment Manufacturers on ICA compliance
  • Conduct audits to ensure data integrity within the Maintenance Information System
  • Update external systems with information provided on Continuing Airworthiness Records as required
  • Assist with Technical Records related queries as needed
  • Support the Maintenance Planning team as required

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience in using a Maintenance Information System
  • Extensive experience in quality checking of documents
  • Natural attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders
  • Preferably 2+ years working in a Technical Records environment within aviation
