Building Inspection Coordinator

We are seeking an individual to assist our team in various administrative and building inspection tasks. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize accordingly.

The successful applicant will be responsible for liaising with Building Surveyors, Engineers, Builders, Contract Inspectors and clients, managing Building Inspector Schedules, generating and issuing inspection reports and logging reports to VBA, generating and issuing Occupancy Permits, Certificates of Final Inspection and logging permits to VBA, record keeping and data entry of mandatory inspections / building inspector inspections, and preparing and issuing documents to council.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Well-developed time management, organisational skills and strong attention to detail;
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office;
  • Ability to complete tasks within designated timeframe and prioritise accordingly;
  • Ability to work autonomously and self-motivate, whilst also being a team player;
  • Maintain a positive attitude to work;

An attractive salary package commensurate with skills and experience will be negotiated with the successful applicant.
