Job Title: Delivery Driver Specialist

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team in Tasmanian supermarket's Online Shopping Department.

The primary objective of this role is to ensure the safe and timely loading, delivery and unloading of groceries to meet agreed delivery schedules. To achieve this, you will be required to work shifts between 5:00am to 2:00pm or 1:00pm to 10:00pm, Monday to Sunday.

This position involves utilising 'sign on glass' technology for all deliveries and ensuring zero damage to customers' property. You will also be responsible for carrying out pre-shift inspections of vehicles and maintaining them in clean condition internally and externally.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To deliver groceries to customers safely and efficiently
  • To manage SH&E responsibilities in line with the SH&E policy
  • To provide exceptional customer service by ensuring high standards of courtesy, professionalism and respect at all times
  • To maintain accurate records of deliveries and any issues encountered
  • To report any incidents or concerns to management promptly
  • To adhere to company policies and procedures at all times

Requirements:

  • Current Full Driver's Licence
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Ability to manage difficult customer situations
  • Well-developed verbal and written communication skills
  • Good interpersonal skills, being friendly and courteous
  • Ability to work independently
  • Well-presented
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and juggle multiple priorities
