Electrical Supervisor Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Supervisor to lead our team in the electrical construction industry.

  • Oversee all site activities under the direction of the Project Manager, ensuring efficient planning and execution.
  • Lead multiple teams of electrical workers, promoting a culture of collaboration and excellence.
  • Work closely with the Project Manager to implement cost-effective construction methodologies and maintain high-quality standards.
  • Coordinate with the Project Engineer to ensure all work meets environmental and health & safety requirements.
  • Provide Quality Assurance and sign off on relevant works in accordance with project and compliance requirements.
  • Manage resource allocation in alignment with the project schedule, monitoring ongoing and upcoming works to identify potential challenges or issues.
  • Assist the Project Managers with the tracking of Apprentices, including their progress and work standards, and support their upskilling and development.
  • Maintain effective client and stakeholder engagement throughout the construction process, fostering strong relationships and open communication.
Requirements:
  • Current unrestricted QLD Electrical Workers Licence.
  • Current manual Driver's Licence.
  • 5+ years' experience in the electrical construction industry, with a proven track record in a supervisory role or similar leadership position.
  • Experience working on Traffic Signals and Intelligent Transport Systems is highly regarded.
  • Experience with Public Lighting - Rate 2, Rate 3 - is highly valued.
  • Experience with the Energex/Ergon network is also desirable.
  • High level of organisational and planning skills, as well as a great eye for detail, to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
  • Excellent relationship skills and a great team player, able to lead, manage, and motivate others.
  • Flexible and easy-going attitude, with a strong commitment to workplace health, safety, and environmental procedures.
