
Quality Assurance Specialist

Support the delivery of high-quality care across Western Australia by shaping clinical excellence through frameworks, systems, and processes.
Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with senior governance professionals to enhance quality and safety standards.
- Promote evidence-based practice and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Develop and implement clinical policies that align with national safety and accreditation standards.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate key risks impacting patient care.
- Maintain up-to-date documentation, templates, and reporting tools.
- Analyze data to inform decision-making and drive quality improvements.
- Participate in audits, compliance activities, and accreditation readiness efforts.
- Contribute to quality improvement projects that drive meaningful change.
- Foster a strong safety culture by promoting risk awareness and safe practices.
You'll be an advocate for quality healthcare, detail-oriented, and skilled at communicating complex ideas effectively. A relevant degree in health, quality, or governance is essential, along with AHPRA registration. Postgraduate certification or experience in clinical governance or quality improvement is desirable. Proven success in delivering quality outcomes, operational thinking, and sound judgment are critical in this role.
