Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Engineer to join our technology team. In this role, you will serve as a key technical expert and provide 3rd level technical support.

This is a full-time position offering the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment with a collaborative team.

As an IT Infrastructure Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and delivering technical solutions to meet the business needs of our organization.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Proactively engage with the wider technology team on escalated 3rd level technical support, troubleshooting, and fault rectification of issues relating to infrastructure & cloud services.
  • Design, implement, and deliver technical solutions that meet the business needs of our organization.
  • Mentor junior team members and provide relevant 'on-the-job' instruction when required.
  • Ensure documentation is kept up-to-date prioritizing tasks based on priority, impact, and service level agreements.
  • Administer, support, and maintain ICT services inclusive of on-premises, Azure, and data centre hosted environments to ensure optimum systems performance and highlight potential issues.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on digital transformation across our organization, particularly focusing on file shared Azure cloud formation and/or hybrid configuration.
  • Troubleshoot server and networking hardware, manage problem management and root cause analysis.
  • Maintain Microsoft and VMware hypervisor, as well as Windows stack – manage and support hybrid Microsoft environments including Windows Server Operating Systems, Active Directory, Group Policy, DHCP, DNS, Office 365, Azure Entra ID, Intune, Conditional Access, etc.
  • Network design/build/install/cutover and backup disaster recovery (ShadowProtect, Azure Backup, and Veeam).
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Extensive knowledge of Microsoft cloud suite including Office 365, Azure, Intune, SharePoint, Entra ID, and ATP.
  • Business communication experience – TIPT and cloud phones.
  • Suitable candidates will possess excellent problem-solving skills and be able to prioritize tasks effectively.
