Job Title: Security Operations Specialist

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Security Operations Specialist to lead our construction security and site observation program on domestic projects. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining effective security measures to ensure the safety and integrity of our sites.

The successful candidate will have relevant WHS and construction experience in site safety and risk management, with a strong ability to work independently and as part of a dynamic team. You will be physically capable of standing for long periods of time and lifting equipment up to 30kg, and possess the skills to operate basic hand and power tools, as well as CCTV and alarm systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the construction security and site observation program on domestic projects.
  • Work collaboratively with project stakeholders from within the department and head works contractor for the project.
  • Plan and setup security requirements in consultation with the construction contractor and other Government agencies.
  • Monitor and observe all personnel on site for behavioural changes or reduced integrity with the conduct of their work.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Possess relevant WHS and construction experience in site safety and risk management in an overseas environment.
  • Experience in being part of a dynamic team.
  • Physically capable to stand for long periods of time and lift equipment up to 30kg.
  • Ability to operate basic hand and power tools.
  • Ability to operate different kinds of CCTV and Alarms Systems.
