Senior Technology Leadership Role

This is a leadership position in a team responsible for the development of core banking platforms.

The role focuses on creating new capabilities in digital, data, and integration that will modernise core banking and drive strategic change across Westpac brands.

Thought leadership is required to optimise the customer experience, enhance data & analytics, and lead a transformation to a modernised microservice-enabled core banking ecosystem.

You will partner key stakeholders across the Technology function and other lines of business to drive technology change.

Responsibilities include:

  • Contribution to quarterly planning and results measurement cycles
  • Managing cross-team dependencies and delivery with a focus on collaboration and agile methodologies
  • Effective management of suppliers, vendors, and partners
  • People development including coaching and fostering an engaged workforce by role modelling Westpac values and behaviours
