Rehabilitation and Assistive Technology Professional

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead our rehabilitation and assistive technology initiatives.

The successful applicant will provide strategic guidance, operational support, and expert advice to facilitate high-quality rehabilitation and assistive technology for National Injury Insurance Scheme Queensland participants.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Advise on rehabilitation and assistive technology strategies.
  • Provide information and support to participants, their family, and carers about the NIISQ and its rehabilitation and assistive technology services.
  • Assess participant needs and offer expert advice to maximise outcomes.
  • Monitor rehabilitation and assistive technology services with internal stakeholders to ensure quality and independence.
  • Lead team members in decision-making through expert technical guidance, coaching, and supervision.
  • Develop strategies, policies, and resources to enhance rehabilitation and assistive technology outcomes.
  • Liaise with providers and educate them about the Scheme.
  • Support incident management and complaints resolution.

  • Demonstrated proficiency in coaching, training, and building capability.
  • A proven track record in providing expert advice and making recommendations based on evidence.
  • Demonstrated organisational and project management skills with a collaborative approach.
