As a strategic leader in supply chain management, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our organisation.

Our close-knit team is dedicated to delivering innovative and sustainable solutions that safeguard Australia's defence capabilities. As a Supply Chain Manager, you will oversee a team responsible for procurement and sourcing, planning, operations and governance, ensuring seamless relationships with major Program suppliers.

With a strong focus on risk management, prioritisation and enterprise-level implementation, your strategic input will be essential in achieving program objectives. You will also contribute to strategic decision-making processes and represent the Supply Chain function as a key leader.

Key responsibilities include:

  • End-to-end supply chain oversight, considering all elements of the functional model
  • Leadership of the supply chain team, divided into procurement and sourcing, planning, operations and governance
  • Relationship management and performance outcomes with major Program suppliers
  • Strategic input into achieving program objectives, including risk management, prioritisation and enterprise-level implementation

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management or related field
  • Significant experience in a supply chain management role, preferably in a Defence or aerospace industry setting
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills
