Job Opportunity in Dietetics

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a Dietitian Assistant. This exciting opportunity exists in a temporary full-time role, working on a rotating roster at Campbelltown and Camden hospitals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain high standards of nutritional care for inpatients
  • Obtain and manage daily menu choices
  • Interview patients for their food preferences
  • Support dietitians in monitoring oral intake
  • Liaise with Food Services on meal provision

Requirements

  • Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance (Nutrition & Dietetics) or equivalent qualification
  • Minimum 12 months full-time equivalent relevant experience as a Dietitian Assistant in a hospital
  • Commitment to commence Certificate IV within 12 months
  • Strong knowledge and experience of nutrition, therapeutic diets, and CBORD
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and independently
