Job Overview

The role of Senior Service Coordinator entails leading daily operations at the service centre, overseeing a diverse team to deliver high-quality services to young offenders and their families. Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategies to ensure a culturally sensitive work environment in line with human rights principles.
  • Provide supervision in evidence-based practices aimed at reducing re-offending among youth.
  • Allocate tasks, prioritize workload, and quality assure individual contributions according to departmental procedures.
  • Pursue ongoing professional development and stay up-to-date with contemporary best practices in working with young people who offend.
  • Oversee suicide risk management processes within the youth justice service centre.
  • Offer timely guidance and support on complex matters to guarantee quality delivery of youth justice casework and restorative justice practices.
  • Establish collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate cooperation on case-related matters.
  • Identify trends and issues in client service delivery and assess client outcomes.
  • Lead recruitment, selection, professional development, and culturally appropriate supervision and leadership for staff.
