We are seeking an experienced Carpenter and Joiner to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in residential construction, with experience working on both new builds and renovations.

The successful applicant will be able to read and interpret architect technical drawings and architectural plans, and will possess excellent skills in carpentry, including framing walls, installing stairs, laying hardwood floors, and building cabinets.

Additionally, the candidate will have experience renovating and restoring existing residential structures or part structures.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Working on houses under construction, framing walls, roofs, and installing stairs
  • Renoing and restoring existing residential structures or part structures
  • Operating tools, including power drills, saws, jointers, and planers safely and effectively
  • Assisting with task delegation, monitoring, and mentoring apprentices as needed

Requirements for the role include:

  • 3+ years professional on-site carpentry experience
  • Experience working on both new builds and renovations
  • Understanding of building methods, standards, and construction workflows
  • A valid driver's license and willingness to travel to regional sites
  • Self-motivation and ability to work as part of a team
