Senior Quantitative Analyst, Clearing Risk

The role of Senior Quantitative Analyst is to develop quantitative methodologies to enable new financial products within our risk management framework.

This involves working closely with the Markets and Risk Management teams to create advanced risk models that support innovative product offerings.

  • Developing stress testing and margin methodologies for new initiatives and projects.
  • Contributing to the back-testing methodology and framework.
  • Developing/contributing to various other quantitative methodology initiatives.
  • Mentoring and guiding junior team members and ensuring their work is delivered on time to a high standard.
  • Ensuring any new models or changes to existing models are documented thoroughly and follow established governance processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Product Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement new financial products that minimize risk.
  • Risk Modeling: Develop and maintain complex risk models that accurately predict potential losses.
  • Team Leadership: Mentor and guide junior analysts to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in their roles.
