About the Role

As a trainee in our Workshop team, you will gain hands-on experience and develop skills required to excel in this dynamic industry.

You will assist trade qualified staff in meeting daily operational requirements while pursuing a nationally recognized training program. This apprenticeship offers a secure employment environment where you can grow your career.

The role involves performing minor repairs and services of vehicles and equipment under the supervision of a qualified tradesperson. You will also enter into a 4-year training contract and complete all units of the apprenticeship within the required timeframe.

  • Gain experience working alongside trade qualified staff to meet daily operational requirements.
  • Develop skills in maintaining a fleet of vehicles, including the latest models and innovative technology.
  • Receive comprehensive 'on-the-job' training from an experienced mentor and TAFE lecturers.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Under supervision, learn the skills required for vehicle maintenance and repair.
  2. Perform tasks such as cleaning, lubricating, and inspecting vehicles to ensure they are roadworthy.
  3. Assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to vehicle maintenance.

Eligibility Criteria
  • A completed School Certificate or equivalent qualification.
