**Role description**:
Our trainee program offers you an exciting opportunity to jump straight into the professional world and earn a living whilst also studying for professional qualifications (paid for by Arcadis). As a Trainee you will play an active part in driving your career development and will be exposed to a variety of projects across the business. Technical experience is key in our sector, which is why we will provide you with a clear framework to work towards graduating. You'll be part of a supportive Early Careers community and will work alongside skilled professionals. You'll benefit from structured on-the-job training, mentoring, plus funding and support for accreditations relevant to your program, as well as the assistance you need to develop and succeed.

**Role accountabilities**:

- Providing support to other members of the team to deliver quality concept civil engineering designs using AutoCAD and other design software
- Ensuring the production of project documents that are accurate, clear and concise and compliant with Arcadis and national drafting standards Co-ordinating the models and drawings prepared with those from other technicians.

**Qualifications & Experience**:

- Completed Higher School Certificate (HSC) or equivalent
- Currently studying/or interested in starting a Diploma in Civil Construction Design (Civil) at Ultimo TAFE
- Excellent communication skills
- Keen interest in graphics
- High attention to detail
- Completed mathematics, engineering science, design technology or graphic design units in your HSC
- Genuine desire to grow and develop within the Engineering industry
- Professional presentation
