Job Overview:

This is a diverse role that requires a strong analytical mindset and exceptional communication skills.

The primary objective of this position is to develop and implement environmental sustainability strategies, focusing on reducing the organization's ecological footprint.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and maintain comprehensive environmental reports, tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) and identifying areas for improvement
  2. Collaborate with stakeholders to establish and implement environmentally friendly practices across the organization
  3. Analyze data to inform sustainable business decisions, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and industry best practices
  4. Design and implement training programs to enhance staff knowledge on environmental sustainability

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • At least 5 years of experience in environmental sustainability, preferably in a leadership role
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful sustainability initiatives
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with diverse stakeholders
  • Familiarity with relevant local and global regulations, including Climate Active and NGERs
