Emergency Services Officer Job

The position of Emergency Services Officer is a crucial role within the organization, requiring an individual with exceptional skills and qualifications in emergency response and management.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Assist with the day-to-day operations of the emergency services team, ensuring seamless coordination and effective incident management.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant policies, procedures, and plans related to emergency management, security, and medical management.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Rope rescue, Road Crash Rescue, Firefighting, Confined Space rescue, Breathing Apparatus (Open Circuit), Hazchem
  • Introduction to AIIMS (Australasian Inter-agency Incident Management System) (desirable)
  • Previous experience in the mining and resource sector
  • Previous experience in emergency response
  • Previous experience in incident control/incident management
  • Presentation, organizational, and communication skills
  • Microsoft Office applications skills including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to analyze and problem-solve, and a willingness to work in a team environment
