Senior Payroll Specialist

We are seeking an experienced payroll professional to join our team.
Main Responsibilities:
- Ensure overall compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Develop and implement effective controls and audit processes, including payroll reporting.
- Review payroll processes to ensure they are up-to-date, legally compliant, and of the highest industry standards.
This role involves collaboration with the payroll operations team and communication with business stakeholders and HR Managers to manage payroll issues and concerns.
Key Qualifications:
- Extensive experience in end-to-end payroll operations or auditing.
- Strong knowledge of payroll tax regulatory requirements.
- Ability to interpret relevant legislation, awards, and compliance requirements.
This is a hybrid role offering flexibility to work from home or the office. The ideal candidate will be able to think independently, suggest improvements, analyze and interpret payroll data, identify and mitigate risks, and advocate for change when necessary.
