The Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Officer to join our team at Mindil Beach Casino Resort in Darwin, Northern Territory. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our guests, employees, and assets.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and patrol all areas of the resort, including the casino, hotel, and surrounding areas.
- Provide exceptional customer service to our guests and respond to their needs in a professional and courteous manner.
- Prepare for and respond to security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences.
- Complete all tasks in line with Federal and Territory legislation.
- Report and prevent the entry of any patrons that cause disturbance.
- Provide first aid when required.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role.
- Confident in communicating with the public as well as internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to respond to emergency situations in a calm and efficient way.
- Ability to work on a 24/7 rotating roster.
- Security License and Crowd Control License issued by the NT Government.
- First Aid certificate & CPR certificate.
- RSA & RSG Certificates.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Casino Operative's Licence.
