Job Title: Accounts Manager - Debt Recovery
We are seeking an experienced Account Manager to join our team, focusing on debt recovery and collections.
Job Description
This is a unique opportunity for an accomplished Account Manager to utilize their expertise in debt recovery and collections, working closely with the finance team to maintain debtor control, resolve issues, and provide excellent internal and external communication.
Main Responsibilities
- Own the accounts receivable (AR) function, ensuring timely payments and maintaining healthy debtor relationships.
- Support the accounts payable function, performing bank reconciliations, cash flow forecasting, and month-end journal preparation.
- Manage debtor balances, prepare aged debtors reports, and reconcile sales invoices.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Proven experience in collections and debt recovery via phone and email.
- Strong skills in bank reconciliations and financial analysis.
- Familiarity with large enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
- Expertise in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and vLookups.
