Job Overview

Become a key member of our Maritime Sustainment delivery team as a Project Risk Officer, providing support to the program risk and opportunity management process.

This role involves conducting risk reviews, preparing agendas, recording minutes and actions arising, and ensuring updates are captured in the risk toolset in a timely manner.

About the Position
  • We require a professional with previous experience in a similar role or project management, who can identify and solve problems, think critically, and innovate.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Support the Risk & Issues Manager in conducting risk reviews, including preparing agendas, recording minutes and actions arising, and ensuring updates are captured in the risk toolset in a timely manner.
  2. Work with the Risk & Issues Manager to deliver monthly Risk & Opportunity Program reporting and assist with preparation of Risk & Opportunity artefacts.
  3. Provide advice and respond to Risk & Opportunity queries from IPTs and manage requests for risk software access and facilitate toolset training for new users.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need excellent communication skills and strong Microsoft Office skills. You must also have current NV1 Defence security clearance or eligibility to obtain and be an Australian citizen.
