About the Opportunity

The Manager, Tech Group Risk, Governance and Compliance role plays a pivotal part in strengthening governance, risk management, and compliance across our Technology Group.

This opportunity includes accountability for identifying and developing future capabilities within the Technology Group.

  • Developing, implementing, and maintaining effective governance frameworks, policies, and reporting processes is key to success.
  • Oversight of technology risk management, including ownership of the risk register and resilience strategies, ensures we stay ahead of emerging threats.
  • We are committed to ensuring compliance with relevant Federal, State, and regulatory obligations, guaranteeing the highest standards are maintained.
  • Developing, implementing, and maintaining capability frameworks for the Technology Group will drive business growth and improvement.
  • Leading audits and reviews, ensuring recommendations are addressed effectively, is crucial in maintaining excellence.
Your success in this role will come from
  • Tertiary qualifications in governance, risk management, compliance, information technology, law, business, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
  • Significant experience in governance, risk, and compliance leadership within a technology, ICT, or similar environment is highly desirable.
  • A proven ability to develop and implement governance and risk frameworks that align with strategic objectives is essential.
  • Strong knowledge of legislative and regulatory requirements relevant to technology operations is required.
