Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced reservoir engineer with coal seam gas (CSG) expertise and a genuine desire to lead and mentor others.

  • Lead the corporate reservoir and petroleum engineering function
  • Deliver reservoir engineering input for development planning, asset characterisation, and performance analysis
  • Build and maintain type wells, production forecasts, and reservoir models
  • Conduct pressure transient analysis (PTA) and other diagnostic studies
  • Lead performance monitoring, production surveillance, and BI data-driven insights to inform decision-making
  • Contribute technical input into drilling, production, and infrastructure investment planning
  • Quantify and communicate technical uncertainties and risks in support of development strategies
  • Manage the annual reserves process
  • Prepare technical reports, and lead technical assurance discussions both internally and externally
  • Provide leadership, guidance, mentorship, and quality assurance to other engineers in the team
About You

You are a qualified engineer with more than 10 years of direct reservoir engineering experience, primarily in CSG. You thrive on delivering high-quality technical work and are ready to take on additional leadership responsibilities.

  • Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering (Master's desirable)
  • Professional accreditation as CPEng, RPEQ; QPRRE (desirable)
  • Proven leadership experience managing multi-disciplinary technical teams
  • Ability to work under pressure and prioritize high impact decisions
  • Collaborative leadership style with coaching and mentoring capabilities
