**Job Title:** Maintenance Fitter

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced maintenance fitter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in maintaining high-volume manufacturing equipment, as well as excellent problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and repair various manufacturing equipment
  • Implement safety management practices
  • Manage a maintenance budget
  • Perform time-critical breakdown repairs and scheduled maintenance tasks
  • Schedule maintenance activities to meet production targets and minimize downtime
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A mechanical trade qualification (essential)
  • Demonstrated knowledge of OH&S and Environmental Policies and Legislation
  • Experience with production and maintenance KPIs, including planned preventative maintenance programs
  • Proficient computing skills; experience with Microsoft Office, Guardian, and D365 programs preferred
  • Ability to work under pressure and communicate effectively
  • Over 2 years of industry experience, including working with manufacturing and maintenance teams
  • A current valid driver's licence and forklift license (HRW)
  • A BI boiler license is preferred but not essential
