Healthcare Support Role

This role provides ongoing support for patient care and multidisciplinary staff in a hospital setting. The operational officer will be responsible for cleaning, waste removal, transportation of patients, equipment, linen, and materials around the hospital.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and maintain hospital areas to ensure a safe and healthy environment for patients and staff
  • Assist with the transportation of patients, equipment, and linen as required
  • Remove and dispose of waste and recyclables in accordance with hospital policies and procedures
  • Support and advise team leaders, supervisors, and managers on operational services
Requirements
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects
  • Basic knowledge of cleaning and hygiene practices
