We are seeking a skilled and experienced Trade Qualified Maintenance Professional to join our team at Australian Country Choice. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our state-of-the-art food processing facility.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance schedules to optimize efficiency and ensure ongoing improvements, including troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
  • Safety and Compliance: Maintain focus on safety and safe working methods, including JSAs, Risk Assessments, LOTO, and permits to work.
  • Equipment Management: Monitor and develop new maintenance schedules for equipment, plant, and other relevant data to identify faults.
  • Quality Assurance: Perform scheduled and ad-hoc safety checks to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Problem-Solving: Investigate failures and make recommendations to reduce risk and improve systems and processes.

Requirements

  • Trade Qualification: Possess a trade qualification in a relevant field, such as mechanical or electrical.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a similar food processing or FMCG manufacturing environment is highly regarded.
  • Skills: Excellent troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills, strong communication skills, and a commitment to working safely.
  • Physical Fitness: Physical fitness to safely fulfill the role.
