An exciting opportunity has emerged for a skilled accountant with expertise in restructuring and insolvency to join Lead Group's dynamic team.

We are one of Sydney's largest and most respected Insolvency and Restructuring firms, experiencing significant growth and seeking an experienced Restructuring Accountant to contribute to our success.

To excel in this role, you will need to be an advanced-level accountant with a proven track record in restructuring and insolvency accounting. The successful candidate will:

  • Possess sound business acumen and commercial awareness.
  • Support our Principals in all aspects of key processes, including insolvency, restructuring, investigations, and voluntary administration.
  • Play a pivotal role in managing internal and external stakeholder relationships, particularly the client journey.
  • Contribute to developing innovative strategies to resolve complex business problems for clients.
  • Lead junior employees through skills development to assist with projects.
  • Utilize financial modeling, analysis, and other relevant skills to inform decision-making.
  • Make a positive impact on the team's culture and deliver high-quality services.
  • Work efficiently within a fast-paced environment.

To ensure success in this role, the ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • A degree qualification in a relevant area.
  • CA or CPA qualification.
  • 2-5 years of work experience in a similar Insolvency/Restructuring accounting role.
  • Ability to work as a team and independently as required.
  • Strong communication skills to build strong relationships with clients and team members.
  • High attention to detail due to the sensitive nature of the work.
  • Full working rights in Australia.

Estimated salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience.
