Role Overview

Aesop is seeking an experienced Human Resources Advisor to join our team on a 12-month maternity cover. As a key member of our People Services Team, you will provide comprehensive HR advice to our designated client group, ensuring optimal service delivery and commercial acumen.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide tier 2 HR advisory support, including policy interpretation, employee relations case management, and reporting insights.
  • Collaborate with the People Services Senior Manager, HR Business Partners, and Centers of Excellence to escalate unresolved queries.
  • Manage HR-related data in Workday, conducting data audits and periodic data cleanses as required.
  • Support and coach line managers on operational HR issues, ensuring high-quality advice is given.
  • Deliver employee lifecycle events, ensuring compliance with policy and legislation.
  • Maintain employee files and generate letters and contracts as needed.
  • Facilitate training modules to upskill managers and onboard new starters.
  • Provide reporting support to inform business decisions and insights.
Requirements
  • Several years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a retail environment.
  • Clear understanding of HR processes and their application throughout the employee lifecycle.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to listen and connect with stakeholders.
  • Strong business acumen and commercial understanding.
  • Good situational judgment and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to make sound decisions and pragmatically problem-solve.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills, with attention to detail.
