This senior position involves maintaining and improving machinery uptime and performance across a 24/7 manufacturing operation.

Responsibilities include leading root cause analysis, implementing preventative strategies to reduce failures and increase uptime, monitoring asset performance, driving reliability improvement projects, and collaborating with engineering teams to improve plant efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead root cause analysis and implement preventative strategies to minimize equipment downtime and optimize overall production efficiency.
  • Monitor and analyze asset performance data to identify areas for improvement and drive initiatives that enhance machinery reliability and efficiency.
  • Collaborate closely with maintenance, production, and CI teams to ensure safe and sustainable production practices.
  • Work effectively with cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategic plans that drive business growth and excellence in manufacturing reliability.

Requirements:

  • A strong mechanical or engineering background, preferably in pulp, paper, or manufacturing.
  • Significant experience working with rotating equipment and high-speed machinery.
  • Previous exposure to fast-paced 24/7 manufacturing environments.
  • The ability to analyze complex data sets, identify trends, and implement practical solutions to drive business results.
