Our mental health services are evolving to provide specialized and integrated care for patients with high acuity needs in emergency settings.
The Rapid Response Clinician plays a pivotal role in leading patient coordination, streamlining care, and enhancing early decision making to improve patient experience and reduce length of stay.
This clinician provides clinical leadership and expertise to influence quality of care, coordinating the patient journey and nominating appropriate pathways of care.
The successful candidate will work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team, including mental health professionals, allied health experts, and lived experience workforce.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-level leadership, clinical advice, and advocacy for patients presenting in crisis with mental health needs.
- Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and safety planning in emergency department settings.
- Collaborate effectively with multiple stakeholders, including family members, caregivers, and community agencies.
