Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Intensive Care Unit team member to join our dynamic healthcare organization. As a Psa Supervisor Icu, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our team.

About the Role

This challenging role requires a minimum of 5 years' experience as a PSA, with a strong background in patient services and a Certificate III in Health (Patient Services). The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership skills, the ability to work effectively in a hospital environment, and a flexible attitude.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide complex and multidisciplinary care to patients requiring liver transplant, spinal, thoracic, cardiac surgery, ECMO, neuro-surgery, general medicine, and liver failure support
  • Work closely with clinicians to develop and implement effective care plans
  • Lead a team of healthcare professionals to achieve exceptional patient outcomes
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience as a PSA
  • Certificate III in Health (Patient Services)
  • Ability to work in a hospital environment with critically ill people
  • Flexible attitude with strong leadership skills, ability to lead a team
  • Initiative, prioritization, problem-solving, and excellent communication skills
