We are seeking an experienced Legal Advisor to join our team, who will provide commercial legal advice to stakeholders across the business. As a trusted advisor, you will provide solutions-focused legal services across all aspects of our operations.
- Provide legal advice and services across procurement, technology, intellectual property, insurance, dispute resolution, contract drafting and negotiation as well as corporate transactions, having regard to the strategic goals of the organisation.
- Manage costs and engagement of external legal to ensure cost-effective and accurate legal advice.
- Mentoring/supervising lawyers within the Corporate Legal team.
- Remain current with changes in legislation and best practice particularly as it impacts core business.
- Collaborate and develop strong relationships with key business stakeholders to ensure advice is provided having regard to the strategic goals of the organisation.
This role is available as a permanent opportunity.

- Tertiary qualifications in law and current unrestricted practising certificate as an Australian Legal Practitioner.
- Extensive post-admission experience working in the area of superannuation or financial services.
- Knowledge of Commonwealth and State legislation as it relates to financial services, particularly superannuation and life insurance.
- Ability to lead negotiations on complex and high-value matters.
- Robust negotiation, drafting, influencing, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to work collaboratively across all levels of an organisation.
- Experience in advising and working collaboratively with business teams to deliver projects.
- Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strategic working relationships, influence, negotiate with, and persuade senior stakeholders.
