Overview of the Role

The Secondary Pastoral Care Coordinator plays a pivotal part in enhancing student wellbeing within our school community.

This full-time position is responsible for overseeing and implementing pastoral care programs that support students and staff in their educational and personal growth.

Main Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with staff on pastoral care initiatives to foster a supportive environment for students.
  • Coordinate events and activities that promote student engagement and development.
  • Maintain effective communication with parents to address pastoral and academic concerns, ensuring a collaborative approach to student wellbeing.

This role requires a dedicated individual who embodies our school's values and is passionate about student wellbeing and development.

Key Requirements

  • Relevant university teaching qualifications from a recognized institution.
  • Registration and accreditation with NESA.
  • Proven experience in pastoral care and student support within an educational setting.
  • Strong communication skills to engage effectively with students, staff, and parents.
  • A valid, paid Working with Children Check.
  • A genuine Christian faith of reformed persuasion, with active commitment to a local church.
