We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Nurse to join our Ophthalmology Outpatient Service team.
Key Responsibilities:- Practice according to the code of ethics, professional standards, and legislation affecting nursing practice by maintaining current knowledge and competence within the scope of the position.
- Provide clinical oversight and direction for all staff and multidisciplinary team within the Ophthalmology Outpatient Service.
- Fulfill role responsibilities in accordance with our organisational values.
- Support quality human resource management practices, including employment equity, anti-discrimination, work health and safety, and ethical behaviour.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing referral streaming, ophthalmology waitlists, clinic management, and providing advice and support to nursing staff and the multidisciplinary team. They will also be expected to lead and deliver person-centred nursing care at an advanced level.
