Livestock Career Development Opportunity

We are seeking a talented individual to join our Livestock Career Development Program, designed to equip you with the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in this dynamic industry.

As a participant in this program, you will gain hands-on experience in all aspects of livestock activity, including sales, customer service, and leadership. You will also have the opportunity to work closely with experienced professionals in the field and develop your skills through on-the-job training and mentorship.

About the Program

The 24-month program is designed for top talent who are looking to launch their career in the livestock industry. You will be involved in four leadership and skill-building workshops, receive regular coaching and feedback, and have the opportunity to work in both saleyard and branch environments.

Throughout the program, you will have the chance to develop your business skills, including communication, marketing, and problem-solving. You will also learn about livestock productivity, animal health and nutrition, auctions, and emerging technologies.

What We Are Looking For
  • A strong desire to learn and succeed in the livestock industry
  • Excellent customer service skills and strong negotiation abilities
  • Successful completion of Year 12 and relevant work experience in the agricultural industry
  • An ability to work in a team environment and willingness to relocate at the conclusion or throughout the program
  • A genuine interest and desire to work and learn about the livestock industry
