Job Title

We are seeking a motivated Sales Agronomist and a Junior Sales Agronomist, based in the Mareeba region. You should be skilled at identifying pests, disease and weeds in crops and recommending solutions.

The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in agriculture or horticulture, with excellent customer service skills and the ability to build strong relationships with key stakeholders.

  • Identify pests, disease and weeds in crops and recommend solutions
  • Develop strong relationships with new and existing clients to grow the business
  • Work closely and collaboratively as part of a team to achieve business objectives

This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who are passionate about horticulture and have an entrepreneurial mindset.

As a Sales Agronomist you will be servicing both existing and prospective customers, developing pest and weed control programs, collecting and analysing leaf and soil samples, and providing high-quality advice to support business objectives.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing expert advice on crop management and nutrition programs
  • Developing and implementing effective sales strategies to grow the business
  • Working closely with other members of the team to achieve business objectives
