Job Summary

The Azure Architect will lead the design and delivery of solutions across the Azure estate, including AVD, Power Platforms, Integration Services, and Data & Analytics.

Collaborate with security, networking, and cloud adoption teams to design and implement hybrid cloud and cloud-native solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with stakeholders, internal teams, and vendors to capture requirements and design Azure-based solutions aligned with business objectives, technology strategies, security standards, and best practices.
  • Evaluate existing infrastructure and define standards, strategies, and roadmaps for seamless migration to Azure.
  • Implement and maintain security controls to ensure Azure environments meet compliance requirements and safeguard data and applications.
  • Support teams in migrating solutions to the Azure Enterprise-Scale Landing Zone Framework.
  • Produce architecture diagrams, technical documentation, and presentations to communicate solution designs to stakeholders and senior leadership.
  • Identify opportunities to optimize Azure resources, control costs, and enhance the efficiency of cloud operations.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in an Azure Architecture role with hands-on solution design, governance, policy enforcement, and development of architecture standards, templates, and patterns.
  • 5+ years' experience in infrastructure support/administration, with proven capability working in hybrid cloud environments across Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365.
  • Strong knowledge of Azure services (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS), Infrastructure as Code (PowerShell, BICEP), automation, scripting, and Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines.
  • Demonstrated experience in cloud migration, application readiness assessments, server builds, data migration, and performance tuning.
  • Relevant Microsoft certifications (Azure Fundamentals, Administrator, Solution Architect Expert) and excellent written, oral, and stakeholder communication skills.
