Job Overview

The position of Azure Architect requires a highly skilled professional to drive the design and delivery of solutions across the Azure estate. This includes working with various teams to capture requirements, design, and implement both hybrid cloud and cloud-native solutions.

This role offers a unique opportunity to work collaboratively with security, networking, and cloud adoption teams to design and implement Azure-based solutions that meet business objectives and technical strategies.

Key responsibilities include partnering with stakeholders, internal teams, and vendors to capture requirements, evaluating existing infrastructure, implementing and maintaining security controls, and producing architecture diagrams and technical documentation.

Qualifications and Skills
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in an Azure Architecture role with hands-on solution design, governance, policy enforcement, and development of architecture standards, templates, and patterns.
  • 5+ years' experience in infrastructure support/administration, with proven capability working in hybrid cloud environments across Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365, including hybrid networking.
  • Strong knowledge of Azure services (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS), Infrastructure as Code (PowerShell, BICEP), automation, scripting, and Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines, with experience in optimisation, reliability, patching, and security.
