Senior Activewear Designer

The Role

A Senior Activewear Designer translates the brand's vision and creative direction into compelling product designs. Your creativity, attention to detail, and passion for design will drive the development of innovative products that resonate with our community.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities

  1. Follow our operating principles: Hungry, Humble, Smart.
  2. Collaborate with Creative Direction to understand product vision and community needs.
  3. Collaborate with merchandise teams to build category ranges through creative concepts and design.
  4. Apply athlete testing insights to improve and optimize product performance and durability.
  5. Translate conceptual ideas into detailed sketches and digital renderings.
  6. Develop comprehensive technical drawings and specifications.
  7. Participate in prototype reviews, providing feedback on design aesthetics, fit, comfort, and functionality.
  8. Research materials, trims, and embellishments for optimal performance and quality.
  9. Stay informed about industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor offerings.
  10. Collaborate with graphics teams to develop colour palettes and prints.
  11. Work closely with product development, sourcing, marketing, and sales teams.
  12. Experience with activewear fabrics is highly desirable.
  13. Ability to hit deadlines and work extra miles.
  14. Analytical and adaptable mindset.
  15. Proficiency in Product Lifecycle Management Software and CAD tools.
  16. Understanding of manufacturing processes.
