About The Role

We are seeking a talented culinary professional to join our team at The Ville Resort-Casino. As a culinary expert, you will be responsible for creating new menu ideas and assisting with menu preparation. You will work collaboratively in a high-energy kitchen, multitasking and maintaining 5-star standards of quality and service.

About You

  • Formal trade qualification in a relevant field.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to create new menu ideas and assist with menu preparation.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a high-energy kitchen.
  • Ability to multitask and maintain 5-star standards of quality and service.
  • Strong understanding of produce, culinary techniques, and kitchen equipment.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Keen eye for detail and a passion for creating visually appealing and delicious dishes.
  • Keen interest and passion for keeping up to date with industry trends.
  • A working understanding of and ability to maintain food safety standards and HACCP.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends, nights, and public holidays.
