About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Heavy Diesel Mechanic to join our team based in MT Thorley, NSW. As a key member of our Field Service team, you will be responsible for providing expert maintenance and repair services for our customers' heavy equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform preventative maintenance and troubleshooting on Caterpillar and Komatsu equipment
  • Conduct component changeouts and repairs on heavy equipment
  • Work independently and as part of a team to meet customer needs
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Meet all site access requirements, including medical checks and police clearances
About You

We're looking for a highly skilled and experienced Plant Mechanic Specialist who is passionate about delivering high-quality work and exceeding customer expectations. You will have a strong understanding of mining equipment systems and exceptional diagnosis and troubleshooting skills.

Requirements
  • Australian Recognised Heavy Duty Trade Qualification
  • Previous experience in a similar customer-facing position
  • Expert knowledge of mining equipment systems
  • Firm understanding of CAT SIS and ET systems
  • Understanding of statutory/legislative requirements
