Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Bed Manager to join our Community Hospitals team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for managing patient flow and ensuring that patients receive the best possible care.

The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership skills, with the ability to work closely with other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care.

Main Responsibilities
  • Triage patients and allocate them to the most appropriate bed and location.
  • Understand the role of a Ward Band 6 and their responsibilities when caring for our patients.

As a Bed Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring that patients receive timely and effective care, while also maintaining a safe and efficient hospital environment.

Person Specification
  • Registered health care professional (NMC or HCPC registration) / relevant experience in a health improvement environment.
  • Evidence of Specialist qualifications relevant to area of practice.
  • PRINCE 2 or equivalent project management training.
  • Working towards Master level study.
