Special Care Nursery Nursing Professional

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the Special Care Nursery unit. The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, as well as a passion for delivering high-quality patient care.
About the Role:
- To provide quality nursing care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating individual patient and newborn care.
- To develop and utilize strategies that encourage an atmosphere conducive to effective communication.
- To work in partnership with patients and families in decision-making regarding provision of care, promoting beneficial relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Nursing Care: Provide high-quality patient care, assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individual patient and newborn care.
- Communication: Develop and utilize strategies that encourage effective communication and collaboration among healthcare professionals, patients, and families.
- Collaboration: Work in partnership with patients, families, and healthcare teams to promote beneficial relationships and deliver exceptional patient outcomes.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Current Registered Nurse with AHPRA registration.
- Minimum of 3 years Neonatal Nursing Level 2 nursery experience.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and unsupervised in the Special Care Nursery.
