We are seeking a skilled Nurse to join our team in the Special Care Nursery. As a dedicated and compassionate healthcare professional, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care by assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating individual patient and newborn care in a safe environment.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, implement and evaluate individual patient and newborn care
- Develop and utilize strategies that encourage effective communication
- Work in partnership with patients and families in decision-making regarding provision of care
- Perform other ward duties as required
- Essential Criteria:
- Current Registered Nurse with AHPRA registration
- Minimum of 3 years Neonatal nursing level 2 nursery experience
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and unsupervised in the Special Care Nursery
- Working with Children check (if relevant)
- Commitment to Quality Patient Care
- Compliance with ACQSHC National standards
- Sound clinical decision making and problem solving skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Post Graduate Qualifications:
- Neonatal nursing qualifications (or working towards)
