Special Care Nursery Registered Nurse Role

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to provide high-quality nursing care to newborns and their families in our Special Care Nursery.

Job Description:

As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating individual patient care. Your role will involve working closely with patients and families to make decisions regarding the provision of care.

  • Assessing Patient Needs: You will conduct thorough assessments of patients to identify their needs and develop appropriate care plans.
  • Planning and Implementing Care: You will work with healthcare teams to plan and implement evidence-based care that meets the unique needs of each patient.
  • Evaluating Care Outcomes: You will regularly evaluate the effectiveness of care provided and make adjustments as needed.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • Current Registration with AHPRA;
  • A minimum of 3 years Neonatal nursing level 2 nursery experience;
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and unsupervised in the Special Care Nursery;
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills;
