Treatment Room Team Leader Position

This is an exciting opportunity to work as a Treatment Room Team Leader in a busy medical practice that provides a wide array of onsite services to the community.

The role offers a chance to perform clinical duties including health assessments and immunisations, assist with rostering, recruitment, and staff performance management.

About The Role

Key responsibilities include managing the provision of services within the treatment room, supporting healthcare professionals, performing clinical duties such as pathology collection, vaccinations, ECG monitoring, wound dressings, linen changes, and equipment sterilisation.

  • Build relationships with patients to ensure comfort prior to procedures.
  • Assist with patient triage and procedures.
  • Liaise with staff to ensure SOPs are followed.
Required Skills and Qualifications

A registered nurse with experience in general practice or acute care is preferred. Leadership experience is also beneficial but not essential. Other key requirements include being passionate about healthcare and community wellbeing, capable of working independently and making decisions, and possessing excellent communication skills for engaging with patients and team members.

  • Unrestricted Australian work rights and vaccination documentation are required.
