About this Position

We are looking for a seasoned professional to join our audit team as a Senior Assurance Analyst. This role involves supervising assignments, leading junior staff on audit engagements, and providing guidance to ensure seamless project execution.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Planning: Conduct audits according to the Audit manual.
  • Engagement Scoping: Set objectives with an understanding of tests, clients, industry risks, and controls.
  • Fieldwork: Perform audits as per the Audit manual.
  • Evaluation: Assess findings for relevance and opinion formation.
  • Communication: Regularly update clients and stakeholders on progress and results.
  • Reporting: Present clear, logical, and precise materials.
  • Issues Reporting: Accurately report issues, treating them according to significance.
  • Client Communication: Maintain timely and clear communication with key client representatives.
  • Workpaper Preparation: Create clear, specific, well-presented, and easy-to-understand workpapers.
Requirements:
  • A relevant tertiary qualification.
  • CA/CPA qualification or working towards completion.
  • A minimum of three years' experience as an Auditor in a public practice firm.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Accounting principles and practices.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess risks before decision-making.
  • Excellent interpersonal and consultation skills.
  • Excellent report writing and presentation skills.
  • The ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • A proactive and autonomous working style.
  • The ability to view engagements holistically.
  • Professional skepticism application in all scenarios.
